I don't consider reverting back to a previous version of the software a viable solution to a feature that is so basic and worked fine. For note, running the system in Japanese introduces other issues so I need to use English for the system language. Settings in Word (East-Asian languages is enabled in both cases). Not sure why this feature is not working currently. I'll also use the feedback feature to keep sending requests to fix this! It seems very odd that it's gone. So far I've been managing but if I hit a critical problem it's good to know there's an option. Thanks too for the information about reverting to 15. Sad to hear that the 'Non-Asian words' and 'Asian characters' differentiation is missing from Word 16, but it's a relief to know it's not just me.
